Busy busy busy!!!!

The first month back in the 'loops has flown by. And we hope that the next few months fly by until we are in our new place! July 15th is the new date and so far the date has been changed twice...this better be the last time too! Here are a few pics of my growing babies!

Mr & Mrs Chris Larose!!!

Jessica and Chris got married on Wednesday night.
Dylan was the official "pillow boy"...(Dylan's name for the job) Ring barrer. It was a beautiful QUICK ceremony.

Christa made them the wedding cake and it was the best cake I've ever tasted....thanks Christa you are on deck whenever I need a cake!!

What to do????

So we've moved!!
My life is in total disarray... boxes, boxes and more boxes. The boys seem to be coping with the move somewhat smoothly. They are both waking up in the night 2-3 times so to sum it up I'm awake a large portion of the night (BLAH!) I've been trying to wean Caleb not because I want too but because I'm going on vacation in one month and I'm not taking him with me. I thought he'd be ready by now but boy was I wrong. As the hours pass by without some "booby juice" he gets so miserable not to mention aggressive! Maybe he's not ready and I should pump the week I'm away and give him bottles while I'm gone. But what if when I get back he's not interested in breastfeeding anymore?????? What do I do?

This is just a short little post to get a few pictures of the birthday boy out there to all of you who didn't make the party.....
Caleb was a good sport and wore the silly cone hat for a little while. His favorite part of the day was the vanilla cupcakes loaded with chocolate icing...yummy!!! By the end of the party Dylan still didn't seem to understand the concept of today being Caleb's birthday not his.

Last moments in Calgary

Being as it is our last fews days..hours...minutes in Calgary, we are busy doing everything from packing up to visting our family for the last time. The other night we made a trip down to "Old Nana and Papa's" house. We've had many great visits with them and very sad to be leaving them. We'll miss you and love you lots!!!!

48 Hours of Valentine's Day

No matter how many times I tell Luke not to get me flowers on Valentine's Day ..HE STILL DOES!
I just hate how for one day out of the year the price of flowers seems to rise 100%.
Well nonetheless I love them!! And I love him of course for making me feel so important.
So the flowers arrived the 14th...



followed by a card which read...

I love you today, more than yesterday but probably not as much as tomorrow. You have become part of me and there would be no me without you.

Now just when I feel that with everything going on we are so far apart he gives me that. I feel that God has truly blessed me!

And then last night he surprised me with dinner and a Flames game. It was genuinely so much fun! We drank we cheered we enjoyed each other’s company. And had the best Malt EVER!!!!
By going to the game last we only have one more thing to do before we leave Calgary....the calgary tower!

Caleb's First Word!!!!

So my little boy has finally uttered his first word...
"DOWN"!!!
I guess we say it to him a little too much..
Now he thinks it's funny when I tell him to get down he just repeats it and laughs.

And today he took his first couple steps!!
Look out Dylan here comes Caleb .......Revenge is Sweet!!!!!

Nana's New Blog!!!

We are excited to announce that nana has finally entered the wonderful world of blogging. Through much frustration and time she has created her own blog which contains a large majority of stories about my two wonderful boys...

CACHOW!!!!

On a trip to Kamloops back in November Nana purchased a toy car for Dylan. Little did we know back then that this car would be part of an ongoing search. We seem to continuously loose Lightning. And of course it being Dylan's favorite car he spends many days in distress over the whereabouts of lightning.
Dylan loves to race cars... He starts at one end of our house car in hand and shouts, "Start your engines!" At this point a God-awful sounds escapes my sons mouth (his version of a car engine) and away he races, running frantically around the house plowing over his brother in the process. Poor Caleb it's just a matter of time before he gets his revenge.

3 weeks

Exactly three weeks today and our new home will be Kamloops BC. YAHHHH!!! Back to Beautiful British Columbia. But now I'm frantically packing and trying to stay stress free. GOOD LUCK! Everything seems to be going according to plan.. the moving truck ..a place to live... and now if a packing fairy could kindly stop by that would be great! Or a babysitting fairy..even better!

I spent the last week in Kamloops trying to get everything organized and ready for the big move. Looks like I'm even going back to work. hooray!

Heading to Kamloops!!!

So once again I'm off to Kamloops alone with my children. We are flying the first class airline..WEST JET!! We'll be staying for about a week. While we are in the 'loops we have lots of people to visit and things to do......
I'm having a couple candle parties while I'm back so if anyone is interested in coming???

Gold Canyon Candles

Here's the Gold Canyon Gossip! So far things have been pretty steady.. 3 more parties in January. I'm really excited and impressed by the new catalogue there are some really beautiful candles and holders.


The candles are starting to sell themselves, which is nice because it seems that once people have the candles they just want more! I still enjoy selling so thats a wonderful sign that things are good!

SICK!!!!!
Every single person in this house came down with the nastiest flu ever known to man. For adults it's not too bad because we have the ability to make it to the bathroom before we explode out both ends. For children it's a different story. 10 loads of laundry later...carpets and bathrooms spotless, my house has never been so clean! Once even on my bed...now come on that has to be the worst place to throw up! I guess it's just part of parenthood. I just hope I don't see that part again anytime soon.
I think we've had our share for a while. Praise God for good health.

Visitor

Today we had a little visitor. Milla was over today with her mommy Laura. We had a great visit before her mom had to rush off to school and leave Milla behind with me and the boys...poor girl. She was a perfect angel didn't even cry once. She loved the swing and fell asleep dispite all the noise around here! Thanks for the visit Laura and Milla... anytime!
Can't wait to have your candle party!!!!

It's Official!

From April 19-26 I will be spending countless hours relaxing on this beach....
The Dominican Republic!!!! I'm so excited! Now the scary part.. Me in a Swimsuit. YMCA watch out here I come.

Is he the only one....???

Every night with out fail, Dylan goes to bed and tosses and turns for at least 1/2hr -1 1/2 hours before he falls asleep. Once I know he's asleep I wander into his room and cover him up. As I adjust the blankets I discover HE'S NAKED!!!! Every time...EVERNIGHT. So I have to crawl up into his bed and dress him. During this whole process he stays asleep. I just thought I'd ask if anyone else’s children do this.... please....is there someone else??? Or is my child just weird?
